Four Things You Need to Know About Fari Hara's First Ever Unisex Fashion Show

.
On April 27th, Fari Hara will be presenting their first ever unisex fashion show right here in Calgary, and we couldn't be more excited to join them on the runway! EMBODIMENT, powered by  10x Music & Culturehighlights individual expression, tailored perfection, and modern artisanal design for all genders. The night will feature a Remy Martin powered welcome, a 5 part runway show, live performances, and much more. Plus, all the proceeds will be donated to Wings of Hope Calgary, a 100% volunteer-run organization that provides financial relief to breast cancer patients so they can focus on what matters — their recovery. Here are four more things our creative director Ayaz Raja wants you to know about the big night!
.
1. EMBODIMENT is going to make you admire the quality and craftsmanship that goes into a great suit. When it comes to men's styling, the details are often overlooked. But the Fari Hara team knows what they are doing. The quality is impeccable, the designs are very modern, and the silhouettes are spot-on. The best part about their work is they see details you don’t, and they don't stop until they are completely satisfied with the final look.
.
2. Fashion for men, especially in Alberta, is such an alienated topic. Men aren't held to the same standards as women when it comes to grooming, style, and beauty. But it's important for men to indulge in these things because when you look good, you feel good. These suits aren't just for executives or CEOs, they are for everyday life. You will see the confidence that is exuded and the versatility of each look on the runway.
.
3. The focus of the show isn't so much on women wearing suits or men wearing suits, but rather the emphasis is on design and confidence. A suit is a piece of art. Everyone can wear one, and everyone should feel confident while wearing one.
.
.
4. The fundraiser aspect of the show isn’t just for the sake of selling more tickets or furthering the brand. Wings of Hope is a cause that is very close to Hakeem and Richard's hearts. They want to spread awareness about the importance of financial relief for cancer patients, which is something I never even really thought about. It's a common misconception that because we live in Canada, we don't have to worry about not affording medical care. But that isn't always the case. Women with breast cancer face significant financial burdens. Their bodies are undergoing painful treatments that leave them feeling exhausted and ill, they are unable to work, many of their medications aren't covered by health insurance. But just because they have cancer, that doesn't mean their bills stop, or rent isn't due, or their children can take care of themselves. The world keeps on spinning, which is why organizations like Wings of Hope are so critical for our community.
.
By purchasing a ticket to EMBODIMENT you are helping us spread awareness so even more people can understand just how critical breast cancer relief is! Can't make it to the show? Show your support by purchasing a ticket and paying it forward! Gift your ticket to a friend, family member or loved one, or send a quick email to hello@farihara.com and they'll raffle it off for you. And don't forget to help us spread the word. The more tickets purchased means the more money we are able to donate to this life-saving organization that is providing critical resources to women across our community.
